Thought I would support the local store rather than a chain. Shop was dusty and tatty. Guy who served me was pretty rude, and couldn't manage basic manners such as please or thank you.
The last place in Crows Nest to look for wine. Ordered a product and said would get in within a few days and to come back then. Went back a week later and the same person looked at me like they had never seen me before. No order placed!Not a cask wine drinker but for work party was asked to buy two different wine casks. We found BOTH had expired 2 months previously and were obviously off. Whole place looks dirty , broken floor tiles and everything is covered in dust. Forget this place.

I ordered a box of Italian wine online. I had never used Jims before, but they had the wine I wanted at a very reasonable price. I was not sure what to expect. I was notified immediately that my wine was on its way, and it arrived a few days later. Seamless service, up to date notifications and no problems at all. Website doesn't look very professional, but don't be fooled. Will use again. Thanks Jim's.
