Found this cutie injured on manly beach, called them up, free of charge help, now he'll be able to join his friends again when he's better

I was stitched up for almost $1,300 today because my dog came it at 4.30 am for gastroenteritis. $500 before the dog got through the door and couldnt tell me if all the treatments they were doing were necessary or what might have caused it. Cant help but feel extreamly ripped off.Made better by demanding payment before releasing my dog when I ask if it would be possible to pay in a few days to pull the funds together.I hope your experience is better than mine.

I have been going to this vet for at least 25 - 30 years, both in Alexander St and now in their new premises with my dog and numerous cats. The staff has always been friendly and the vets themselves are knowledgable and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone. I am giving this business five stars because they truly deserve it.I have decided to update my review.I have read all the negative reviews and quite frankly I'm a bit disappointed.Answer me this, if you had any other member of your family in an emergency situation, wouldn't you want the best? This is not just a Medical Centre type Vet, it is a well run, fully stocked Hospital facility.I know this because I went through this Vet on an open day, when they first opened and saw all the areas plus they have an incredible Intensive Care facility.I DO understand that any ailment with your pet is stressful and we can be feeling a bit fragile at this time, especially if it is really serious. All I can say is if you want the very best treatment for your pet, you have to pay for it.They really DO care and will do everything to assist you,. and above all your pet.

I had to take my cat here after hours and no regrets on the cost, no complaints about the service and my cat is fine but they managed to lose the cage she came in (she was there less than 24 hours!), and despite repeated follow up calls on my behalf, and them promising to get back to me, they still haven't gotten back to me yet.

Our dog required emergency surgery and I was impressed by the communication I continued to receive from the staff throughout this process. They were always very kind when I called them for updates about my dog. They are not cheap - but that's what pet insurance is for. When we picked up our dog, they had made sure he had gone to the toilet and was ready to get in the car. His stitches were very very neat and he recovered very well following his surgery.
