The sharing patter was fantastic. Particularly the BBQ Salmon and fried chicken. . . We will definitely be back
Cool place, this Restaurant is mostly hidden from the road behind a dark grey wall and small arched entrance with a black wooden door.Hanging flair lights are draped all along with the ceiling, a display of hessian bags full of spices sit on wooden crates, topped with bamboo steamers and a big chopping board.
Nice place to get a variety of Asian Tapas. Met the owner / chef as we arrived, lovely man and many of the dishes come firm inspirations from his travel. His signature dumplings are really good, very fresh and made without MSG and very moorish... which means Id love more then the 7 that we got. Could have been more pan fried too for a crunchier Botton. Salmon caspaccio was very interesting, the sauce it sat it almost tasted curryish which was interesting. Again moorish and could have done with more. Grilled miso I think would have done with a stronger glaze - maybe miso? And the pork belly was great but could have been a little more cooked and charred with more caramelisation. Overall was a nice pleasant place that Id be happy to come back to and just needs a little something to make it great and memorable. Ps. Place obviously use to be Spanish with the decor and the wine list needs work :-)
Interesting and tasteful dishes to share. It took some time to get the food despite the place not being full. Every dish would have tasted better if it would have been served warm.
If I could give zero stars, I would have. Disgraceful service or lack thereof. Best to take your business elsewhere and not waste your time.My partner and I don't often go out and we excitedly made dinner reservations here, after reading the reviews. However, we showed up and noted it was quite busy (which we took as a good sign) but after being seated we were not given any table water and no one came to take our order. We were waiting for 30 minutes until my partner got up to get someone to take our order. The only guy at the front desk was surrounded by other customers waiting for tables to become available. My partner came back to the table stating that the only person available was surrounded by other people and he was unable to get a word in.So we waited another 10 minutes and no one came to take our order. We left and went to another restaurant which both took our order within 7 minutes and served our food within 15 minutes after that.Your restaurant is severely understaffed or is lacking the proper management to balance out the flow of customers on busy nights.Severely disappointed.
