Most knowledgeable rabbit doctor that I have encountered. David and his team are very knowledgeable and great at explaining whats going on. Helped us with one bunnies dental issues when he stopped eating; and our other bunny was paralysed all of a sudden (floppy rabbit syndrome apparently - they managed to get her back to perfect health! Amazing). The vet team are so lovely and took good care of the bunnies. I am so grateful to know there is an expert team I can count on! Thank you
Dr David Vella is the best vet I have ever had for my bearded dragons. He is extremely personable, educates extremely effectively and love to chat about reptiles. His extensive knowledge and experience coupled with his diligence and thoroughness makes me 100% comfortable knowing my dragons are healthy. As always, thank you!
David Vella is the best bunny vet I have found in Sydney. After spending thousands at my local vet trying to figure out what was wrong with my megacolon rabbit, David Vella knew instantly what was going on and in a single consultation was able to offer more help than weeks of consults with my local vets. I dont even waste time with my local vets anymore, David Vella is a knowledge packed super human.I now take all my rabbits to him for their annual check ups and surgeries. Ive had rescue rabbits eyes removed, ear canals opened, complicated dental surgeries and desexing done and there is nobody I would trust more with these surgeries.You do have to request specifically to book appointments with him and often in advance. He just consults at North Shore vet and is not there all the time. In emergencies I have seen other exotic vets at North Shore and they have also been wonderful.
Outstanding team. Extremely knowledgeable and very caring. I have absolutely no hesitation referring any and all exotics to Dr Vella and his team.
I can NOT get over how caring every single person at this Vet Clinic is.From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly.All vets and nurses were outstanding.Dr David Vella, Dr Jo Sheen looked after our beloved Guinea Pig Donald and did everything they could for him.I was on the phone discussing Donald's care plan with Dr Jo and the person next to me could hear the conversation.... they thought Dr Jo was talking about a human because she was being SO compassionate.It was Donald's time to go (sadly) - but I know everyone at North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre did everything they could do make Donnie better, and then to assist him when he wanted to let go....I just received a "Sympathy" card in the mail from the Dr's and staff - it means the world to us and shows how much they care - It was hand written and they made specific comments about our Donnie, so I know it's not just a standard thing they send out - like Real Estate Christmas cards!!I can not recommend this Vet highly enough.
