I suggest a new supplier for your carrot cake. Full of diabetes-causing sugar. The topping is not made with cream cheese but highly sweetened whipped cream. Not pleasant.
No breakfast before 9. As a Belgian myself, not much Belgian about it, sorry to say.Eggs benny: large portion, but eggs were overcooked. Edit: eggs benny, quite good second time round. Perfect eggs!
Always pleasant, a great meeting place, staff and owner helpful and make one feel so comfortable. No one hurries you. A really super coffee/chokkie/place highly recommendrd
Been there a few of times unfortunately and there is something just not right here. When you order at the counter , staff seem just totally surly and annoyed having customers bother them and often talk to each other CONSTANTLY in the middle of your order. It sometimes takes three goes to place your order as they forget and often repeat your order back wrongly. Coffee is very average at best , mostly pretty bitter and luke warm. On one occasion , on the entrance to the kitchen area , the chef and the obvious owner were having a huge shouting argument just three metres from us and a table full of bewildered children and an adult. Even one of the bored coffee makers , mentioned earlier , had to come and ask them to stop shouting in front of paying customers In Crows Nest this is almost the very last place you would want to visit ever again.
Always have loved Oliver Brown till I got a long piece of hair in my waffle & almost vomited after seeing it. Where is the hygiene at this place? Absolutely disgusting.
